Cosmic Cleanse
Ingredients
Hemp (cannabis sativa)
Aromatic Oregon-grown hemp sourced from USDA Organic Certified and 3rd-Party Tested farms. Considered "industrial," with less than 0.3% THC.
Red Rooibos
Made from fermented leaves from the Aspalathus linearis shrub, Rooibos is a great caffeine-free alternative to black and green tea. Rooibos has a sweet, delicate and earthy flavor.
Marshmallow Root
Used for millennia for its soothing properties, Marshmallow Root can be found in beverages, desserts, and more. Supports a well-regulate and balanced body & mind.
Caradmom
Intense, piney, & slightly fruity with a touch of sweet. Some menthol characteristics, with many health benefits.
Licorice Root
This herbaceous legume is one of the most widely used herbs worldwide. Distinct sweet profile with pungent camphor notes, akin to anise and fennel. Settling.
Astragalus
Called Huang Qi, Astragalus has been traditionally used in Chinese Medicine as a 'Qi' tonic to promote overall wellness. Sweet, slightly warm & adaptogenic.

Cannabinoids also need to be able to work in your body, referred to as "bioavailability". That's why nearly all of our teas, capsules and superfoods are infused with a proprietary hemp + coconut base, formulated for CBD absorption.
You may notice ingredients like Tapioca Maltodextrin (sourced from organic Yuca Root) and Organic Acacia Fiber. Both help prevent clumping and improve mixability. Just like our herbs and tea, these base ingredients come from small, organic farms.
This is my first time ordering from The Brothers Apothecary and I was kinda nerves about it. I’m not really a tea drinker so I wasn’t sure what I want to try. I choose this blend bc well everyone needs a good cleanse every now and again. At first I was kinda put off bc it smelled like marijuana when you open the bag. But when you think about it it makes sense bc it’s made with hemp. I did as the instructions said and added a tsp of coconut oil and some honey. It was surprisingly good and I sleep like a baby. Plus when I woke up I was in a much better mood than usual. I’m not a morning person at all plus my stress is usually really bad. But when I woke up I wasn’t nervous or worried at all. This tea works amazingly and I’m definitely buying more. The only thing I worry about is the THC. I know it’s a really really small amount but I just got a new job and I really don’t want to fail a drug test over the fact that I drank some tea. If it wasn’t for that I’d probably be drinking this stuff everyday. But for now I’ll just stick to once a week or so just in case.

CDB is 50mg but what about the Red Rooibos, Licorice Root, Marshmallow Root, Astragalus, Dandelion Root, Cardamom, and Clove

There is approximately 4-5grams of tea per tea bag, and the ingredients are listed in order of weight (Rooibos being the most used, and Clove the least). The exact breakdown is a bit of secret, but Cosmic is blended as a medium-full Rooibos blend, with spices like Cardamom and Clove just adding a touch of flavor. The Licorice, Marshmallow, and others are meant to add some unique flavor dynamics, but also provide some other benefits as well. We also adjust here and there based on ingredient freshness and quality as well, so weights may vary batch by batch to maintain a consistent cup 🙂

Placed an order a few weeks ago . My tin of Cosmic Cleanse had 18 full tea bags and 2 empty tea bags. The rest of the order was fine. I e-mailed over a week ago and heard nothing. So I guess customer service isn’t something they care about. I like their teas but I’m not taking the chance of being ripped off again and I would caution anyone doing business with them. There are lots of CBD teas out there so go check out the others.

I was skeptical at first about this tea but the flavor is amazing. The combination of the rooibos and other ingredients results in a deeply soothing blend. I’ve tried most of the Brothers Apothecary teas and think Cosmic Cleanse is hands down the best. It has some natural sweetness without the need for any sweeteners. Adding honey puts it over the top. Nothing surpasses this on a cold winter night but it would be incredible year round also.

This is just a lovely tea. The flavor mix with licorice and cardamum, the CBD, it’s all great. I keep buying this tea. If you are looking for one tea to try, I recommend this one. (I do miss the metal canisters.)

I wish I could give this tea more stars. It is simply perfect, I try to avoid caffeine in the afternoons. This tea in the afternoon is calming, sweet without any added honey and slightly smoky in taste. I can easily make 2 full mugs of tea. Delicious!

My in-laws swear by your teas and gifted my sister- in- law and I a few different kinds. I suffer from uc. I rarely have good days. As far as flavor goes, this is my favorite Brothers’ tea. I love having this after exercise in the morning. The Rooibos wakes you up and I feel like I am keeping a good thing going by cleansing my body while getting my dose of CBD. The flavor of the rooibos really shines on this one. Great stuff.
