Traditional Holiday Eggnog
What better way to ring in some holiday cheer than with a mug of rich, creamy eggnog! This wintertime drink is a classic for a reason. Rum, nutmeg, vanilla and cinnamon join together to warm you up on a cold night and put the roses back in those cheeks. While culinary historians debate its exact lineage, most agree that traditional holiday eggnog originated from the original medieval British drink called “posset.” This was a hot, milky ale-like drink used to warm up on cold, wintery nights. By the 13th century, monks were known to drink a posset with eggs and figs. We’ve updated the recipe some, and added our own CBD twist!*
Why CBD Honey?
In addition to tasting great, raw honey is an amazing source of antioxidants and has natural antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. Honey actually naturally contains the antiseptic agent hydrogen peroxide. Raw honey is also chock full of phytonutrients, which are derived from plants and contain their own antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. Honey can help soothe a sore throat and quiet a noisy cough, making the Gold Rush the perfect cocktail for cold and flu season. Finally, honey can also soothe digestive issues from ulcers to upset tummies. Our Brothers Apothecary Wild Rosin Honey is handcrafted with full-spectrum, terpene-rich Hemp Rosin and blended with sustainable, ethically harvested raw wildflower honey. Each teaspoon contains an estimated 20MG of CBD.*
The Buzz on CBD Cocktails

When combined with the stress-relieving effects of warming bourbon and smooth tropical rum, CBD works to promote a sense of ease.
