Pineapple Highbiscus Tea Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 bag of Highbiscus
- ¾ cup coconut water
- ½ cup chopped pineapples (canned or fresh)
- 2 tsp peeled and chopped ginger
- ¼ cup pineapple juice
- 2 tbsp sparkling water to taste
- *optional: add your favorite alcohol, we recommend tequila!
Instructions:
-Boil 1 ½ cup of water and steep your tea in a heat proof bowl and prepare according to the directions on the bag.
-Transfer tea into a blender. Add coconut water, pineapple pieces and juice, and ginger. Blend until smooth. Taste and add more coconut water, if desired.
-Add to shaker with ice and alcohol of choice and shake.
-Pour into ice filled glasses and top off with sparkling water.
-Serve!
Pineapple Hibiscus CBD Cocktail
As the summer season comes to a close, we believe there’s no better way to send it off than with a CBD tea cocktail (or mocktail). Heck, it could be the dead of winter and this is a great idea! We’re combining our favorite summer tea (Highbiscus!) and the delicious flavor of pineapple for a tart, semi-sweet & fruity tropical cocktail.
Pineapple
Pineapple, in addition to being super tasty, is great for the body. It’s true: pineapple is much more than a delicious fruit — it also offers a lot of health benefits as well. First off, it’s a great source of vitamin C, which means it supports the immune system and provides antioxidant benefits.
In addition to being a vitamin C powerhouse, pineapple is also one of the top food sources that contains Manganese. In fact, a single cup of pineapple contains 76% of the recommend daily intake.
Hibiscus
The co-star of this delicious cocktail is hibiscus, a deep red flower. In Iran and many other countries, hibiscus is used to support a healthy cardiovascular system. It can also be brewed into a tea, and that tea can be used for many things, including making hibiscus simple syrup.
Side benefit: Hibiscus tea is naturally calorie free and can be served hot or iced!
