What is whipped honey?

Whipped honey, sometimes called creamed honey or honey fondant, is honey that’s undergone a process to control crystallization. This process requires no additional heat, so it retains all the unique health benefits of our organic polyfloral honey. The only difference is that this honey has a smoother consistency, making it exceptionally spreadable and notably lighter in color than typical honey.

What are the benefits of Apple Spice Honey?

Our Apple Spice honey contains some powerful additions that are unique to the recipe. Inside, we’ve combined delicious spices alongside organic, raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar.

Apple cider vinegar has been used as a conventional remedy for centuries. Apple cider vinegar is made by exposing crushed apples to yeast, which ferments the sugars in the apples and turns them to alcohol. Next, makers add bacteria to the mix, which further ferments the alcohol. It is here into acetic acid — the main active compound in vinegar. Additionally, raw & unfiltered apple cider vinegar (like that used in this honey), contains the mother of bacteria, which contains its own proteins, enzymes, and friendly bacteria that support a healthy digestive system.

What is wildflower honey?

Wildflower Honey, known as polyfloral honey, simply defines when nectar is taken from multiple sources and species of flowers and blossoms. The main difference between clover honey (a more common honey) and wildflower honey comes down to the taste and the processing method: Clover Honey has a much more mild taste and flavor. It is also the most common honey in the united states. It is also often much lighter in color.

Wildflower honey, on the other hand, often has unique floral undertones. In fact, it will have a flavor that reflects the specific part of the world and time of year. This means that wildflower honey tastes different regionally! What’s more, wildflower honey will contain a more unique array of other plant constituents, depending on the time of year and flowers foraged by the pollinators.

When should I use Apple Spice honey?
