What’s a CBD smoking flower blend?

Our Sacred Hemp CBD Flower Smoking Blend is a small-batch infusion of hemp flower + medicinal herbs and botanicals. Sacred opens your heart and mind to wellness, made with herbs like Marshmallow Root, Lemon Balm, Tulsi, and Wild Dagga.

What’s inside the Sacred smoking blend?

The Brothers Apothecary Sacred Smoking Blend uses powerful herbs in its formulation. The purpose of Sacred is to open heart and mind, and the herbs inside have been selected specifically for that purpose.

Sacred begins with Marshmallow Root, which has been used for a millennia as an edible food and in wellness practices due to its soothing, calming properties. It is commonly found growing in damp environments like marches, seas and river banks. The plant also has high contents of mucilage, a polysaccharide substance found in the plant, and flavonoids, a diverse group of phytonutrients. 

Next, the blend employs Lemon Balm, a lemon scented perennial with serrated heart-shaped leaves. Native to the mediterranean and various regions in South Africa, it is widely cultivated for its promotion of a sense of calm. It was used traditionally to soothe the symptoms of stress and give a sense of relaxation. Lemon Balm helps the body and mind relax, and is used to promote deeper, more restful sleep.

Tulsi then brings in its own calm and balance, and its quality and safety provide a great alternative (or full replacement) to tobacco, without the nicotine. Tulsi can also be found in our other formulations, including Buddha’s Berry, our CBD green tea.

Wild Dagga (Leonotis leonurus), also known as lion’s tail, rounds off the blend. Wild Dagga is in the mint family, and is a broad leaf plant native to South Africa. It is commonly used for traditional medicine, with infusions made from the flowers and seeds. It’s commonly used to inspire a sense of calm, and is even used as an alternative to marijuana, as it produces euphoric-like effects and feelings of exuberance. Wild Dagga is also able to heighten the benefits of the other herbs and botanicals in this smoking blend.

When should I use CBD flower blends?

We recommend using our Sacred Hemp Flower blend whenever you want to open your heart and mind. It’s a great blend to enjoy at the end of your day, or before meditation. 

Note: All smoking hemp contains trace amounts of THC. We do not recommend using full spectrum products, including hemp flower, if you are required to be tested for THC for any reason. 

The Brothers Apothecary exclusively uses hemp that contains <0.3% THC and is licensed with the Department of Agriculture.
