Zodiac Signs & Tea: How They Relate
It’s basically impossible to not have come across the zodiac at some point in your life. Whether it was a zodiac-focused candle or a conversation with a friend eager to analyze your birth chart, the zodiac signs have permeated into popular culture in the United States. At its root, the zodiac is simple a belt-shaped region of the sky, extending approximately 8° north or south of the ecliptic, which is the apparent path of the Sun across the celestial sphere over the course of the year. This belt include visible planets and the Moon.
These star signs are connected with specific dates of the calendar, and are thought to carry special meaning when it comes to behaviors, personality, mood, and preferences. Each zodiac sign, much like each of our teas, has its own strengths, desires, and characteristics. Additionally, each of the zodiac signs belong to one of the four elements: fire, earth, air and water.
Whether you put much stock in the zodiac or not, let’s see what tea describes you the best. You might just find a new favorite tea!
Aries (March 21 – April 19): Chai Awakening
Element: Fire
Courageous, determined, and passionate, Aries are the first sign of the zodiac signs. They mark the beginning of something energetic and turbulent, and they are always on a journey to find something new and exciting. Aries are bold, ambitious, spicy and the first in everything.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Breathe Well
Element: Earth
Reliable, devoted, responsible and patient, Taureans are famous for their bull headedness. They have traits of beauty, artistry, luxury and comfort. An incredibly tactile sign, they consider all their senses. Because of this, they have the ability to remain grounded, practical and realistic, like their other earth signs Virgo and Capricorn.
Our Breathe Well is the perfect blend for the Taurus. Its earthy flavor is accented by the sweetness of the peppermint and eucalyptus. Just like the strong headed Taurus, the earthy tones of the Breathe Well push through offering a well-rounded and finished flavor.
Gemini (May 21- June 20): Coconut Genmaicha

Quick witted, sociable and communicative, Geminis are ready for fun with a serious side, making them a true twin sign of the zodiac. Fascinated by the world around them, they are usually curious and want to experience everything. Because they are usually changeable and open minded, Gemini’s make great artists and can shine in any career.
Coconut Genmaicha is the perfect blend for the Gemini, as the classic taste of the toasted rice meets the tropical flavor of pineapple and coconut. Much like the Gemini has two sides, this tea has a similar vibe with the warm opening notes, and a sweet tangy finish.
Cancer (June 21- July 22): Mellow Mint
Element: Water
Tenacious, imaginative, loyal, and emotional, Cancer’s are deeply intuitive and sentimental. They deeply care about their family and their home. Cancer’s are guided by their emotions and heart, and they are very sympathetic. Because of this, they are often very attached to the people that they choose to keep close.
Mellow Mint is the perfect blend for the Cancer. The peppermint and spearmint work together to create a bright and soothing flavor that refreshes the spirit, and the nutty aroma from the hemp and coconut provides a comforting finish. This goes well with the Cancers, because they are also full of empathy, care, and comfort.
Leo (July 23-August 22): Highbiscus
Element: Fire
Creative, passionate, warm-hearted, and generous, Leo’s are natural born leaders amongst the zodiac. Being the center of attention is easy for the dynamic Leo. They are creative, self confident, and dramatic. As a result, Leo’s often have many friends, and are capable of uniting many friends and leading them by a shared cause.
Highbiscus is a bright, bold and flavorful blend, making it the perfect tea for the Leo. The attractive color and smell attracts drinkers to this tea. Highbiscus can be enjoyed either hot and iced!
Virgo (August 23 – September 22): Buddha’s Berry
Element: Earth
Loyal, kind, analytical and hardworking, Virgos take a methodical approach to life and don’t like to leave things up to chance. Often tender hearted, they are perfectionists and they are kind, supportive to friends and love to work to solve problems. Because they value kindness and being supportive to their friends, they want to assist on a practical level.

Libra’s are ruled by Venus, which makes them wonderful lovers and very expressive. Therefore, they love to surround themselves with music and art. They often see beauty in the world, and love to travel.
Sensualitea is the perfect blend for the gentle Libra. It is inspired by passion, warmth and sweetness, everything that encapsulates the spirit of the Libra. It has light floral taste that is accented by sweetness and spice.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21): Oolong Passion
Element: Water
Passionate, stubborn and resourceful, Scorpios are great leaders and are born fierce. This passionate zodiac sign is dedicated to what they do, and will keep all your secrets. In addition to their passion, emotions are very important to the Scorpio, but they often show them differently and manifest their emotions in a more mysterious way.
Oolong Passion is the best blend for the Scorpio. This succulent blend is palatable and full-bodied with a soothe and delicate aftertaste. It is a strong blend that has an undertone of sweetness and passion, just like a Scorpio.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21): Pumpkin Spice Chai

Idealistic and generous, Sagittarius is a world traveler! Open mind and motivated by the world around them, a Sagittarius is an extrovert zodiac sign. Furthermore, they possess a great sense of humor and will do anything to achieve their goals.
Pumpkin Spice Chai is the perfect tea for a Sagittarius. Like the Sagittarius, the pumpkin spice chai has tantalizing flavors that are robust and exciting. It reminds the drinker of fall weather (Sagittarius Season), and cozier times.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19): Breakfast Buzz

Responsible, self-control, and well-mannered, Capricorns are traditional and serious by nature. Additionally, they are independent and have a great ability to lead. Capricorns are practical and grounded, valuing tradition and hard work.
Breakfast Buzz is the best blend for the Capricorn. It’s our most traditional black tea and is reminiscent of English Breakfast Tea. This caffeinated blend is great for early mornings and long work days for the ambitious Capricorn.
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18): Golden Dream
Element: Air
Independent, humanitarian and progressive, Aquarius are deep thinkers and highly intellectual people. They love to help others and can often help those around them solve problems. Aquarians view the world as full of possibilities, therefore they often have a visionary quality about them. They feel great amongst friends and strive to be surrounded by people.
Golden Dream is the perfect blend for the Aquarius. It’s an ideal blend for meditation and soothing the soul. It can help the Aquarius unwind, relax and renew their minds.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20): Cosmic Cleanse
Element: Water
Compassionate, Artistic, and Intuitive, Pisces are friendly and empathic. They are equally known for their wisdom, and are often willing to aid others without expecting anything in return. Pisces are considered the most tolerant of zodiac signs, likely because of their generous and caring personality.
Cosmic Cleanse is the best blend for our head in the clouds Pisces. It works to elevate your mind and body. It is naturally sweet (just like the Pisces) and impossible not to love.
Why Tea and the Zodiac Work
Just like the unique zodiacs, each tea blend offers different attributes and qualities. And while your favorite may not be the one chosen, that by no means suggests you can’t enjoy other teas.
