What is CBD tea?
CBD tea simply is the combination of herbs, tea (Camellia sinensis), and the cannabinoid CBD in a single tea bag. This creates a unique botanical drinking experience that pairs CBD with the unique benefits of tea. At The Brothers, we use real-hemp, not an isolated or chemically “washed” derivative of the plant. This means that our tea is as natural as it gets: each bag contains REAL hemp that is formulated to work with your body.
Does CBD tea work?
Drinking tea is always a fantastic way to support a healthy body and mind. However, the quality and potency of your tea is very important if you are trying to take advantage of the benefits of CBD.
For instance, many infused teas often contain only 10-20mg CBD per serving at most. Many people report that teas of this potency (as well as other CBD edibles) rarely are effective. This is important for two reasons: first, the serving of CBD still must be brewed out of the tea bag, and second, CBD is not naturally water soluble (meaning it won’t mix with water). As a result, a tea that uses a low potency infusion or infuses with an “isolated” CBD likely does not actually contain a significant or measurable amount of the compound in the final brew. This is where we are different.
How is The Brothers tea different?
First, every tea bag at The Brothers includes 60-70mg of CBD. This high serving size means you are already maximizing the total potential CBD in your cup. Higher concentration allows for higher amounts absorbed by the body, and more CBD making its way through your system.
Next, The Brothers have developed a proprietary infusion method that enhances bioavailability naturally, without solvents, fillers, powders, extracts, or synthetic derivatives. All of our blends are made with a combination of ingredients, like real coconut & tapioca, that bind to CBD and enable it to make its way into your body. And yes, just like our teas, the ingredients used in our bioavailable formula are sourced from small, organic farms — not chemical companies or processing labs.
Finally, all of our hemp is exclusively sourced from USDA Organic farms local to us in Oregon. Every blend batch tested to meet our rigorous standards. In fact, our teas carry a certified control study from the Department of Agriculture for production and safety. That means every batch has been reviewed to be consistent, effective, properly labeled, and most of all, contains the amount of CBD that is on the package.
Is your tea tested?
Yes! We test our products rigorously and repeatedly. Every package including an easy to scan QR code, where you can find exactly what’s inside your product. All of our testing is done by neutral third-party, ORELAP accredited laboratories. Samples are randomly selected and we publish the full results frequently on our testing page.

This was my first time trying this tea I had got the Mellow Mint flavor it has the best Peppermint & Spearmint blends and not to mention that it’s Organic also! It does a magnificent way to soothe the stomach. The BEST are the CBD Honey Sticks! You simply must have one with every cup you make, They taste very sweet and delicious and is a MUST in every cup! I highly recommend!

These teas are fire! I prefer the Golden Dream right before bed. I definitely recommend adding a nice amount of coconut oil or milk to it. The more you add, the more CBD the works for you. Love these.

For a pot, we’d suggest adding 2-3 bags (this will brew 3-6 cups, depending on how strong you want them). Otherwise, just treat it like normal tea! 🙂

The oolong tea is so delightful. It’s not only delicious, but I’m able to make a huge mason jar of it with one tea bag, adding more water and cbd honey to it multiple times. So delicious in the mornings and evenings. Drinking some now, so calming and ready to doze off. Highly recommend!

Great stuff! Any ideas if it would work iced? It is great hot and helps me sleep. Just curious if it would be as beneficial iced for summer.

It works great iced as well! The CBD is pre activated, but we would still suggest brewing hot, cooling, and then icing to get the most out of the brew. Also, keep in mind that we do infused our products with a coconut milk, so when iced, there may be some coconut oil that floats to the top 🙂
